We have been working on poetry for a while now. Here is a poem I wrote. Click on the link below.
On 4/16/09 Sheepshank Sam came to our school. He was a real lumberjack! First, he talked about how you start a lumber camp. Then, he talked about running the lumber camp. Then, it was lunch. At lunch we could NOT talk! 
After lunch, we played games and then we went home.
May 4 2009 is Front Porch Night. Last year I went and it was so much fun! Cars were honking, ice cream was dripping, and everyone was eating ice cream. It was everywhere! On people faces, on the ground, and in people’s mouths, everywhere! Mrs.Keeton was scooping ice cream too! And when we went to school the next day we had the cool school award from the Front Porch!
We have been exploring websites for kids. There are many websites out on the internet that kids learn, explore, connect with other kids, and play!
My choice is a website that has games and has a place that teaches you now to help the environment in your own house.
I like it because there’s a game that teaches you to help the environment.

I read and wrote a book talk for Bakugan The Battle Brawlers. By Tracey West.
It is fiction and is about a boy who found a ball that changes into a Dragonoid named Drago.

This week we celebrated our writing! I wrote a personal narrative titled ” My Most Nervous Day At Church”. I want to share it with you. Click on my name below and you can hear me read it. Thanks for letting me share it with you!
On the 19 of January, it was Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I learned that Dr. King was born on Jan. 15, 1929 and was killed on April 4, 1929. I knew That his speech inspired many Americans. We watched his famous “I Have A Dream” speech and even made our own!:) Mine started out like this, I have a dream that all countries shall not fight… To hear the whole speech click below. 
The first thing we did for our New Year Party was play a game called Miner Millionaire. One question was: Who started the mining town of Fayette in the Garden Peninsula? Answer: Fayette Brown. The next thing we did was get our snacks and move our desks for the movie. The movie was called “The Polar Express”. The movie was great! Then we went out for recess. After that we cleaned up and went home. Thanks for reading my first blog!
